Titled tipper accident

I was going through the headlines this morning, and my eyes went straight to this particular topic, “Tipper Terrorism”. This topic had disturb me for long. I used to talk about it every-time I find someone worth talking to about. I wanted to write about this. And I think there will be no better time than today. By the way I created this medium account yesterday, and I was searching topic for this. Be careful while reading, I don’t have any experience in writing, choice of words, structure and grammar. words are exactly how I think, without makeup. Don’t judge me. I just want to reach out to some similar minded people and to whom it may concern. And hopefully, if i can, change some perspective of people.
So, going to the main topic. Tipper Terrorism, what a great choice of word. Think it again, is it a terrorism. OK, I can assume it as terrorism for a moment. And lets think, Why this terrorist is selective of its victim. Why only 2 wheeler, specially scooter, and mostly women.
Think Again, while I try to increase the length of this blog.
Being grown up a fan of Discovery Network, traditional and supportive family, in some way classy and sometimes narrow society yet still being proud of that, and time to time having faced with the news about possibility of Human as an inter planetary species, a computer engineer, and a space enthusiast with somewhat wierd taste of music. GOD, there are lots of thing to grasp. And I have heard that, to remember something you have to connect it with you already know. So, I have always tried to understand everything that i think and hear of. Trying to make sense out of them in an unbiased way and to connect everything possible. Even if the topic are East and west or sky and earth. So, I wanted to understand this terrorism and see if there are any variables to connect. To try and take out the weakest variable. Hence, avoiding the whole thing [Accident /Terrorism].
Being said that, lets analyse this Terrorist and its victim in an unbiased way.
Why victims are always either in scooter or bike, why not hit a car, or bus. It would be more fun to rear end another tipper. This has to do with the tradition of riding in this valley. How do we ride? As if we are the only one alive. We are the only one is rush. Our work is the only important think in this world.It’s not that all riders think same. Its actually we as a human being think that way, and that’s our survival instincts. Because we will be dead if we get late, Boss might kill us. Losing money in something may mean an end of life. Arriving late might end some relation, which may mean like death to you. Sometimes we need to seek medical attention, in that case it really is a life and death situation. Anyway, whatever the reason, it is important than anything for us at that particular moment. That‘s how our mind is programmed these days and subconsciously we react as a survival situation. That’s why we are in such a hurry, always. Moving on, people inside car or bus can’t go around like motorcycles and scooter, so sad. That’s why they haven’t been targeted by our newly classified terrorist, maybe. We don’t have to change any of that thing if you ask me. We cant change our personality, let alone the exact norms of being alive in this society. However changing the lifestyle of society and its rule is a different story. For now we can focus on solving current issue by widening, or may be changing, our perspective.
An accident is never caused by a single mistake, reason, decision or action. Everything has to fall in exactly the right way at their respective time.There is always a chain of event. And one event miss, game finish. You have to break that one link. No matter which, but it must be part of chain. That’s it. You don’t have to do a lot of work. find the weakest and easiest link, break it. Your work is done.
One Weakest and easiest link to be broken in this tipper terrorism is easy. As easy as sitting in a driving seat. But not for driving, instead to look around from the driving seat of tipper. what do you think ? You ready? OK, now imagine what will you see. I don’t think you can until you get your feet wet. what I want is you to be interested in the thing that you won’t see. Popularly known as “Blind Spot”.
A blind spot is an area of the road outside the driver’s field of vision that cannot be seen in the rear-view mirrors or through the windows. Blind spots are all around vehicles, but their size and location vary according to the type of vehicle. The main blind spots are located in front, at the rear and on the sides of the vehicle. There are also other blind spots, such as those caused by rear-view mirrors and pillars on either side of the windshield. Every Vehicle has a blind Spot. Taller the vehicle, bigger the blind spot. Longer the vehicle, bigger the blind spot.
When you are near one of these vehicles, be responsible!
Like our Grand parents or any senior citizen. If They cant hear and see properly. we act accordingly to adjust. We know that It’s not their fault for not being able to “see” or “hear” . If you can make sense out of this in any way, comparing big and heavy vehicle with big and heavy human. only to understand them better. Not to judge them, but to give them a proper environment. Hence avoid the probable bad incidence. Eventually adjusting with them if we have to.
We do have to deal with the heavy vehicle in our day to day commute. And when we deal with one, we treat as if its another passenger car or motorcycle. They are not the same. Everything about them is different, from acceleration to deceleration, braking distance,turning radius, blind spot, everything is different about them. You cant predict them unless you have experienced riding inside one of them, or you are in the similar line of work, or you already have done a lot of homework.
Always try to avoid being in the vicinity of heavy vehicle. If not, drive or ride in different lane. And if you think that is not an option then keep a large gap in between any sides. Last option at least is possible.
If you are a pedestrian crossing the road, do you know what would I do in that position. I would never look at the vehicle. Instead, I will try to have an eye contact with driver before actually crossing roads.
Don’t trust anybody except yourself. Think as if everyone around you is dumb, inexperienced. And excited to be on the road because it’s their first time. Think as if you are here to protect those imbecile riders and drivers. And you are the only one who can avoid accident. Think of everyone as an immature, naive, inexperienced, cute , vulnerable 5 year old in a body of teen or adult.
Every time you come across a situation where it would have been an accident if you hadn't took that turn or you hadn't slow down or you hadn't given him the space or side, you would feel like a savior. you just saved a lot of money, time and who knows even life of that person. A person who doesn't know about you and goes without even saying thank you. May be he doesn't care. But you know what, that won’t matter because you are a secret super hero and you saved his life. You don’t have to be an avenger and protect earth from an alien invasion. You can always be a super hero to yourself. There are lot of opportunities laying around. Grab one today, and make a toast with yourself. That’s what real superhero do. Be a responsible Hero you can be proud of. You don’t need to tell anybody what you just did. Overtime world will tell you what you have done..if not the world….. your close ones will be proud and will have something good to learn from you…i think i am going out of topic here.
